Located in Safaga on the Red Sea coast, this multi‑purpose terminal spans 81 hectares and features 1,100 meters of quay with a depth of 17 meters. It is equipped to handle containers, solid bulk, liquid bulk, and general cargo, serving as a vital trade link to Europe, Asia, and Upper Egypt’s industrial zones.
Scope of Work
Construction of 1,100m quay wall (17m depth) using concrete block system
Dredging and sea backfilling
Paving and site preparation
Production & installation of 5,049 concrete blocks (200,000 m³)
Rock core covering under concrete blocks
Driving and casting piles (32m depth)
Concrete crown construction
Installation of marine accessories and railway lines
