Construction of Western Breakwater – 1,438m length

Construction of Southern Breakwater – 590m length

Foundation works with 30–300kg rock core

Armor layer with 1–3 ton rocks

Final armor with 12.25 & 43‑ton tetrapod blocks

Construction of vertical concrete crown

By delivering world‑class breakwater infrastructure, this project ensures long‑term port protection, doubles operational capacity, and reinforces Egypt’s position as a key player in global maritime trade.
